Meeting great people
In my life I have had the pleasure to meet some of the finest people
I could meet. As a Veteran, Educator, School Administrator, Musican,
Community Advocate, and father and husband, I hope to show you
these wonderful people I met along my jounrey in life.

A Great life I have live and will share with you.

My last professional postion was a legislative aide to Texas State Senator Carlos F. Truan, the Dean of the Texas Senate and former Chairman of the Texas Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations. Sen. Truan retired on January 14, 2003 after 34 years as a State Representative and State Senator.

Veterans Day at Sherrill Park
On Veterans Day, November 11, 2000, the local women veterans were honored at Robert Sherrill Park. Ram Chavez is the Founder and Musical Director of the Veterans Band of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Dr. Hector P. Garcia is the founder of the American GI Forum and the recipient of the Medal of Freedom. General Marc Cisneros was the commanding officer during the Just Cause Campaign in Panama. Ram Chavez is very proud to be associated with these great leaders of our time. This picture was taken in the 1980's.
